The National Park - Take a virtual tour!

Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm). The National Garden is an oasis in the heart of the city. An area of 40 acres full flowers, plants, bushes and threes from around the world. It was originally designed to be the Royal Garden of the Palace of King Otto and Queen Amalia. It was planted between 1838 and 1860. The garden has four entrances. One of the gates conncts the park with the Zappeion park area.
The National Garden also holds a duck pound, a small zoo, a botanical museum, a small café and childrens library and a playground.
