The National Gardens
The National Gardens is a great place to escape the noise and heat of Athens. Located behind the Parliament building the park is a green oasis in the centre of the Capital. You can spend hours wandering around the many paths, lakes, sitting on a bench, feeding the ducks or just enjoy the peacefulness and the lush verdure.

Zappion Park
South of The National Gardens is another park where the classic Zappeion Hall is located. The building was originally constructed to be used during the first modern Olympic Games 1896 in Athens. Nowadays exhibitions and congresses are held here.

Lykavittos Hill
A 277 metre high limestone rock with an incredible view over the central landmarks of Athens, as well as the beautiful coast and surrounding mountains. According to the myth Lykavittos Hill were dropped there by the goddess Athena. It is a wonderful place with pine trees, cypresses and narrow paths and you also have an excellent view over Acropolis.
