By boat
The best way to travel to the Greek archipelago is by boat. All ferries dock in Pireus, with the exception of ferries from the Ionian islands that have connection with Patras and Kyllinis. To travel between the many islands of Greece has become very popular. Pireus is in many ways a the best point of departure.
Most people who travel by boat to Greece come from the countries near at hand: Italy, Cyprys, Egypt, Turkey and Israel.
