By bus
Puplic transport is inexpensive and reliable. Just remember to bye your ticket before you board a bus. Tickets are sold in newspapers kiosks and special booths all over the city. Remember the telephone number 185 for information about all citybuses, trolleybuses and timetables.
Good to know is that most regional destinations within Attica leave from the Mavromate terminal north of the National Archaeological Museum. There are several other bus stations in Athens with buses leaving for different destinations.
