By car
If you want to travel by car to Greece you have two options: You can arrive on a ferry with your car to one of the country's major ports or enter the country overland from FYR Macedonia, Bulgaria or Turkey.
Good to remember is that the speedlimit in Athens is 50 km/h ( 31mph ),on the country roads 80 km/h, major roads 110 km/h and 120 km/h on the highways.
There are plenty of places where you can rent a car. The driver must be 21 years old and have a valid driving license.
Good to know: The blood/alcohol limit in Greece is 50 mg.
Seatbelts are compulsory in the front seats and adviced in the rear. Children under ten years of age must travel in the rear.
