By taxi
To go by taxi in Athens is unexpensive. For that reason it can be rather difficult to find an available one. More convenient but also considerably more expensive is to order a radio taxi from your hotel or a restaurant. These taxis do not pick up travellers from the street, only by calling them.
There are some extra fees for bringing suitcases. Travelling by night is double rate.
